The Brief
My own home, a Victorian terrace, narrow at the front and deceptively deep, asked very little of how we actually live. The conventional layout wasn't going to work.
The Key Decision
The first move was structural, shifting the kitchen to the centre of the house and opening the rest into defined zones. Pale pink and cornflower blue run through as a connecting thread, but every room is its own world. The furniture, including a sofa whose curves were drawn from a 1940s Christian Dior reading nook, moves between rooms and feels different each time.
The Outcome
A home that performs for my family, work, sleepovers, and stillness. Warm and personal but never chaotic, nothing precious, everything intentional.
