The Brief
Selena Beaudry, Clemmie Myers and I organised a pop-up to sell art, vintage fashion, furniture and interior objects, a gallery-like space that brought people together against an increasingly disconnected digital world.
The Key Decision
We created a fictitious couple, Mrs and Mr Bateman, to extend the possibility of engagement and connection, using pieces that told their story, from a slipper chair built from Mrs Bateman's own wardrobe to a piece honouring her great-grandmother, a Peruvian bullfighter.
The Outcome
What began as a four-day trial in Soho sold out again over three weeks in Notting Hill, with national press, and the Batemans' story was collected into a book alongside the installation. It's the kind of immersive, creative commission I bring to commercial work.

“The Batemans travel the world and are patrons of the arts. Their one-of-a-kind collection tells us the story of who they are, where they have been and where they are going.”

“It was more than the items that were sold. It was the story they told, and people took a piece of that experience home with them.”
