The owners of this property bought their house for its architectural features. They wanted the interiors to enhance these features using a palate of chartreuse, mauve and endless blues.
Natalie Tredgett Design created interchangeable rooms where the furniture and its objects can be moved anywhere in the house to suit the changing demands of a busy family life. Every room now looks and feels different as a separate space, and as a collection of spaces. All aspects of the house were sourced and designed, including bathroom renovation and space planning and electrical design for a recent kitchen extension.

What the client says
"I love working with Natalie. We have had a long-standing partnership and she knows me well and what I like. She is bold and adventurous in her designs and her use of matching and contrasting colour palates is both whimsical and clever.
All the design pieces and soft furnishings are individual yet still interchangeable! It’s great to be able to move pieces between rooms and mix things up when you feel like a change without having to buy all new pieces. Her use of collectors’ pieces with high street finds creates a great overall effect.
She is skilful at using different colours, texture and fabrics to create a set of separate living spaces but which all fit together in a harmonious way.“
